Thursday in the Garden ~ things we do best

We are making the most of being outside because it suddenly feels a lot cooler and the seasons are on the change. Mrs H never lies on the grass now so we have to jump her as she walks to the wormery instead. She does this every morning. We have our own routine too.
First we sit on the wall in order to snoop on next door (only we know why)
Bingley
Then we chew grass
Mrs H sometimes assists us in this even though she is the one who has to clear up when we gag in the study
Darcy
Any old water we find we drink, even though Mrs H puts down fresh we consider this a waste of time
Darcy
The garden is full of scratch poles
but our preference is to scratch the newly painted areas making as much noise as possible (we find both of us doing this task at the same time draws the best response from Mrs H)

  3. It's nice to see that there's still lots to do in your garden even if the weather is getting cooler!

  4. It's sad when summer is going ... BUT Autumn is FUN too. Scrunchy leaves to look forward to ~ and conkers (we love conkers) and days snuggled by the fire on a blankie. life is good.

  5. You two are SO cute in these photos - we especially love the one of you scratching together - and the snooping one (we like to snoop on the neighbors too!)

And doesn't water taste better when it's in an unusual place? Humans just don't seem to understand that.

I have tattoos on both ankles (L=crescent moon/stars all around like a bracelet/R=3 flowers representing my girls on the inside of my leg), crescent moon around my belly button with sun and stars across my stomach (for me, crescent moon represents New Orleans=Crescent City), Libra symbol with Ann/Nikki written inside on my R hip (my Mom's name/my first kitty, 1984-2004) and tattooed makeup...I will be 45 on Oct. 13 and got the first 3 tattoos (L ankle, stomach, hip) when I was young, over 20 years ago, but the color on them still looks great!...I got the R ankle with 3 flowers in Hawaii a few years ago for my girls...Loved your tattoo=happy day, Helen!...hugs...J
